This page gives you some practical guidelines for working with the branding assets and trademarks of The Matrix.org Foundation. Please read our trademark policy to learn more about how you may use these assets.

Matrix Logos

How to use them

When reproducing the Matrix logo, please include an appropriate disclaimer and link back to matrix.org, for example

This logo is the trademark of The Matrix.org Foundation. Use of this logo does not imply endorsement or affiliation.

The Foundation's trademark policy allows you to create derivative works using the above logos within the defined limits.

  • Please do not skew or alter the aspect ratio of the logos.
  • The official colors are #000000 Black and #FFFFFF White.
  • The font is based on Helvetica Neue bold, which you can easily use to create visually fitting variations of the logo.

Membership Badges

These badges are available for members of The Matrix.org Foundation to showcase their support for the ecosystem. Whether you are an Associate, Ecosystem, Individual, Silver, Gold, or Platinum member, you can use these assets on your website, GitHub profiles, or marketing materials.

How to use them

  • Link it back: If you display a badge on your site, we encourage you to link the image to our Members Page. This helps verify your support and helps others discover the Foundation.
  • Visual Integrity: Please do not stretch, rotate, or modify the colors of the badges. Do not alter the aspect ratio of the badge.

The following table lists some terms that either are wordmarks of The Matrix.org Foundation or simply commonly used in the context of Matrix, alongside their canonical spelling.
